Provide Input for a Web Based Health Literacy Curriculum for High School Students


WHO

Current or Future Medical Providers – e.g. nursing students, counselors, therapists, and exercise science majors moving into a medical profession

Current or Future School Providers – administrators, health education, physical educators, and school counselors

High School Students – 14-19 years of age
WHAT
A 90-minute in-person group discussion to learn your perspectives on improving health literacy in high school students and on barriers to accessing health care in a rural setting.
WHEN
Wednesday, November 13, different times for each group above.

Current or Future Medical Providers – 8:30 – 10 am, breakfast provided.

Current or Future
School Providers – 2 – 3:30 pm, snacks provided.

High School Students – 4:30 – 6 pm, dinner provided.
WHERE
UNK Campus, Communications Building (CMCT). Parking passes will be given to people who agree to participate.
Additional Info:
Participants will receive a gift card for attending the full group session.

High School Students: $75
Food will be provided during the session.
